Civil Resistance in Kosovo by Howard Clark
Prior to the rise of the Kosovo Liberation Army and NATO intervention, Kosovo Albanians engaged in a 10-year nonviolent struggle for political and civil rights. In 1997 the Einstein Institution Fellows Program funded Howard Clark to investigate the development of this remarkable movement. Bringing Down a Dictator is the story of how nonviolent action was used to bring down Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic in the year 2000. Led by the Otpor!
